TravelJohn – For When You Really Have To Go

gelsinstantly

By Chris Scott Barr

As the old saying goes “when you gotta go, you gotta go.” Most of the time you are able to find a bathroom somewhere close, however, sometimes there isn’t one in sight. But on the rare occasion that you can no longer wait, and have nowhere to go, you can turn to these TravelJohn Disposable Urinals.

No, this isn’t something that you get excited about using, but I suppose it beats the alternative. For guys, we can usually find a tree or something to go behind (provided it’s not too public of a place), but girls have a much harder time. Either way, this thing would beat peeing your pants. Just do your business (number 1 only) in the pouch, and it will instantly turn into a gel. Then just toss it in the nearest trash can. You can get a box of 18 for $12.

Verizon and Alltel, Together Forever January 9

If you’re like me, you watch the current Alltel commercials and wonder why it’s still trying to compete against Verizon, the company that bought it out in a $5.9 billion merger.

However, as of this weekend the commercials will now (we assume) cease to exist because it was announced this weekend that on January 9 the merger will be complete and Verizon and Alltel will officially come together, never to be parted.

This is great news for Verizon as it now will officially surpass AT&T Mobility as the number 1 company in the US with 78 million customers. It certainly comes at a high price, however — Verizon has agreed to assume nearly $23 billion of Alltel’s debt.

Unless you join forces with Testman, we bid thee farewell Chad. Your commercials will be missed…by somebody out there, I’m sure.
